Taatletail Takes Unbeatable Lead In Filly Of The Year Series

Classy filly Taatletail proved too strong for her rivals when taking out the Gr. 2 Cambridge Stud Sir Tristram Fillies Classic on Saturday at the Waikato Racing Club. Taatletail now has an unbeatable 32 points in the New Zealand Bloodstock 2003 � 2004 Filly of the Year Series.

Racing on a firm track at Te Rapa, Taatletail (Faltaat x Defensive Lady) proved too tough, passing the post with a long neck back to second place getter Anne Carina (Danske x Lidahya) and with a further 1 � � lengths to fast finisher Madame Shinko (Shinko King x Madame Mac)

All three fillies are expected to be on hand at Ellerslie Racecourse to contest the final race in the New Zealand Bloodstock 2003 � 2004 Filly of the Year Series, the $100,000 Championship Stakes at Ellerslie on 28 February 2004.

Trained by Graeme Rogerson & Stephen Autridge at Tuhikaramea, and bred by Macau based Deborah Ho, Taatletail is raced by Graeme Rogerson, Peter Glover, Paola Meo, Stephen Just, Brian Foster and Dean McLuckie.
