New Zealand based stallions continue to produce talented offspring with performances on the track showcasing the distinctive Kiwi-bred traits to the world. The results achieved by these local sires makes the search for quality at NZB’s Karaka May Sale effortless, along with the next generation of bloodlines adding to the appeal.

Proven Strength

Heading for his fourth straight New Zealand Sires’ Premiership title, Waikato Stud’s Savabeel needs no introduction. The son of Zabeel has notched up a total of 47 Group winners and 73 stakes winners with current season flag-bearers Savvy Coup (NZ), Sword of Osman (NZ), Embellish (NZ), Hasahalo (NZ), Kawi (NZ) and Shillelagh (NZ) claiming Group 1 wins in New Zealand and Australia. Siring 50 winners and five stakes winners this season alone, the Champion 2YO and 3YO will have two weanlings, two yearlings and two broodmares presented at the Sale.
